Our bags cover a wide range of purposes but are used predominantly in agricultural, construction, food, recycling, retail, skip and waste industries. They are available in different sizes, strengths, having specific coatings on the fabric, some provide ventilation others provide filling spouts, some have more loop handles than others, however they are all manufactured to a high standard which is why our bulk bags are the best in the area.
Vaal Bulk Bags has a great deal of experience providing our services and products to a variety of industries; if you are uncertain about which bag is most suitable for you or your business, our staff are on hand to help.
We hold stock of most popular FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) sizes but if none of these is suitable to your requirements we will gladly design and manufacture a bespoke batch of bags that meet your specifications.
We sell recycled and second hand bags
We sell recycled and second hand bags, which have been prepared and checked to ensure that they are safe and ready for use. We also provide a recycling service where we buy your used bags to prevent waste and the use of landfills – we never let a good bag go to waste.
We stock and sell a range of used and recycled bags of all different sizes suitable for a multitude of uses. By recycling the bags we are avoiding the detrimental effect it can have on the environment and as this is so important to us we will even buy bulk bags from you. If you have bulk bags that you no longer need or use, get in touch and we will pay for them and recycle them on your behalf. Most bulk bags are made from non-degradable materials, so here at Vaal Bulk Bags we feel it is important to recycle and re-use the bags.
We pride ourselves on the quality of our bags whether new or recycled and at the Vaal Bulk Bag warehouse we stock a wide range of bags, however if you require a specific size or design of a bag, let us know and we will happily make it for you.

Polyethylene liners are also known as poly liners. They are flexible plastic liners that are specifically made to line an intermediate bulk container (FIBC) or bulk bag. These liners not only protect the contents of the bag but also prevent certain materials leaking from the bag. When the following materials are stored or transported, poly liners are often used in industries:
The most popular type of liners is the lay-flat polyethylene. They are cylindrical in form, with an open top and a heat seal at the bottom. To be able to remove the heat seal, the liner must be cut. Lay-flat liners are often pre-inserted in bags or purchased in rolls to be inserted after purchase. Lay-Flat liners also have the following features:
The form-fit bulk bag polyliners are made to fit the exact shape of the bag, including the outlet and spout. Form-fit poly liners improve the bag’s performance and protect the contents from contamination during processing, storage, and transportation.Form-fit liners also allow for consistent fill and discharge of products because they do not have folds, pleats or other traps to slow down product flow. These liners can be attached permanently to the bag or removed easily after each use. Form-fit liners offer the same benefits as lay-flat liners, including chemical resistance, oxygen barrier, moisture barrier and stronger strength.

Tubular liners look very similar to standard Gusset liners in many respects. They are made from the same polyethylene material as standard gusset liners and are pre-inserted in the bag before they leave the manufacturing facility. The only structural difference is in the opening at bottom of the liner. The bottom of a standard gusset liners is sealed. This liner can be pulled through the spout to allow for bag discharge. Tubular liner does not require a bottom seal. The end of the tubular liner is fed through a spout during manufacturing before the bag is tied. There is no need for the liner to be cut when it is discharged.
Poly liners can be purchased by companies to insert into bulk bags. You can also buy bags with pre-installed liners made from woven polypropylene. Pre-lined bags offer many options. Pre-lined FIBCs are the only way to get custom specialty or form fit liners. These options allow lined bags to be used in a wider range of products and applications.
Pre-lined bags have one disadvantage. The liners can be sewn into seams or tabbed to bag material. They cannot be removed. The liners are not easily removable, so you have less flexibility.
